4-Phase Process

Phase 1

Pre-Assessment Intake Session: a one and a half hour interview session between the psychologist and the client and/or main caregivers to gather background on the individual, family and situation.

Pre-Assessment Intake Session:

During this session, background information which includes relevant reports and academic records will be shared with the psychologist to aid in the consolidation of information.

Phase 2

Individuals will be engaged through the conceptualisation process which may lead to subsequent support sessions to help them manage and work through presenting concerns. The number of sessions will be planned and determined along with the individual.

Therapy sessions:

Possible visit where required: A visit to the setting may be appropriate and at times required to better understand performance in the respective contexts.

Phase 3

Consolidation and preparation for case closure would be key phase.

Preparation for case closure:

It aids encapsulating insights from past sessions towards future steps. Case closure is discussed during this phase.

Phase 4

Case closure is agreed between the individual and the psychologist.

What Client’s Say About Impetuz.

My child’s teacher gave feedback that he is not showing any apprehension and fear in his new environment (new classroom, new teacher, new classmates)…in fact it was very heartening to see that he was able to make a new friend as opposed to last year. He was also more vocal…thanks for your help!

Ms Se, son attending an international school based in China, completed the Secret Agent Society Program

My son has made good progress in school after attending the Secret Agent Society program, I am pleasantly surprised that the feedback from his school teachers have changed from negative comments to mostly positive comments and praise for his behaviour in school.

Ms Cheryl Ang, mother of a 13 year old teen

Thanks so much for rendering the support. The assessment really help us to understand my son’s area of development and how to work on them.

Karen Ng, mother of a 3.5 year old pre-schooler
